Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions for booking a tour with us possess important information.  

The present document sets out the basis for a business relationship between you, the customer, and Sanctuary Treks Peru

Deposit

When you book a tour with us, you agree to pay a non-refundable deposit for the specified tour. The deposit for most multi-day hikes is USD 300 and USD 90 for single-day tours.

Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation email for the tour that you made a deposit. In that email, you will receive this document in PDF format. By booking with us, you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions outlined in this document, and the contract becomes valid.

Cancellations

The terms of cancelations are defined by how far in advance we are notified of it. No matter the cause, cancelations have different penalties to which you “our customer” agrees to abide.

• Cancelations made one week before the trek are subject to forfeit 100% of the total cost of your tour.
• Cancelations made two weeks before the trek are subject to forfeit 80% of the total cost of your tour.
• Cancelations made three weeks before the trek are subject to forfeit 70% of the total cost of your tour.
• Cancelations made one month before the trek are subject to forfeit 60% of the total cost of your tour.

MEDICAL and Liability RELEASE / Waiver

We require that all clients sign a liability release waiver acknowledging the risks and hazards you will be exposed to and accepting all responsibility for going into these environments. You will need to disclose any pertinent medical information that allows us to reduce the risk to your person so we can safely manage any situation while on tour.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

For your protection, we recommend that you buy travel insurance. Travel insurance provides you with trip cancellation or interruption refunds, travel delay, medical expenses, emergency assistance, baggage and baggage delay coverage to protect your trip investment.
